Here are pictures of President Jonathan’s State Visit to Katsina. President Goodluck Jonathan was in Katsina state on a two-day official visit.
President Jonathan arrived the ancient city of Katsina by to commission some projects executed by the Governor Ibrahim Shehu Shema‘s administration.
Some of the projects commissioned by the president include the multi-billion naira Katsina Ring Road, the new magnificent Katsina Government House, the 250-bed Katsina Orthopaedic Hospital.
Other projects commissioned were the Olympic Size Katsina Stadium, named Karkanda Stadium and the Songhai Multi-Purpose Farm.
Similarly, the President visited some of the federal government projects in the state, including the Mararrabar Rimi Wind Mill Electricity Project and the Federal University, Dutsin-ma, Katsina State.
The President paid a royal visit to the Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir Usman and his Daura counterpart, Alhaji Faruq Umar Faruq.
